The Hydraulic Automatic Gauge Control (HAGC) is one of the most important systems in a rolling mill to guarantee the gage performance. Since 1960 when the servo systems were introduced for heavy duty control in the metal industry, the HAGC system has become an essential part of rolling mill design.
